Exciting {Adoption} News!

After completing a long process as quickly as possible, Brandon and I have been APPROVED for adoption through LDS Family Services. We are honestly very excited about growing our little family through adoption.

To be completely honest, after Talon was born, we were advised that the reaccurance rates for pre-eclampsia and a premature baby were very, very high, and after a lot of thought and a ton of prayer, we feel that it is best for our family to adopt beautiful little babies at this time. We joke that we have two strikes against us - Strike 1: it is very challenging for us to become pregnant due to infertility issues AND Strike 2: it is very dangerous for us to stay pregnant due to pre-eclampsia complications. In our minds, that should amount to some sort of bonus point or something :)!

Since becoming approved for adoption, we have felt such peace and hope. We are happy to be starting a new chapter in our life, and we have our fingers crossed that we will be welcoming a new little one into our life soon.

To our dear friends and family who have already done so much for us, we ask that you share our message with essentially everyone you know and even people you don't know - that's not asking much, right :)? We feel so grateful for your love and support throughout the last few months of our life. We would have never made it without you! We hope that with your help, we will be able to spread our message of adoption. Many of the adoptions finalized through LDS Family Services are situations in which a friend, family member, Bishop, Relief Society President, etc... knows of a family who is looking for a child to join their family through adoption. Please, please, please help us get our message to the masses!

{Sparkly} Earrings!

Chloe has been talking about wanting her ears pierced for a couple of weeks. A week or so ago, we were at the mall, and she asked when she could get her ears pierced. We explained to her that it would hurt, but she was convinced that she wanted her ears pierced. After few tears, Chloe had some new sparkly pink earrings! She loves them, and they are just beautiful! They make her look 10x more like a princess :)!

Grandpa's {Jeep}

We spent President's Day weekend in St. George, and Chloe enjoyed one of her new favorite things - a ride in Grandpa's Jeep! Chloe and her little cousin, Maddie, went on a jeeping adventure with Grandpa Kim. They love to ride in "Grandpa's jeep to the mountains." Crazy girls!

We shared all of our love this Valentine's Day! Chloe is truly her mother's daughter - She love, love, loves holidays. This year, she was very excited to give her friends some cute Valentine's. It was a fun day for us - we delivered Valentine treats and cards to friends and family, enjoyed a special dinner, and were spoiled by Brandon with beautiful flowers for both of his girls! Our little Valentine, Chloe, received matching outfits for her and her favorite doll, Abby! Love it all!

Children's {Treehouse} Museum

We live near a fun little children's museum. Chloe's little friend, our dear friends' daughter, recently had a birthday party there, and we were able to spend the afternoon exploring the museum. Chloe especially loved the "school" room, where she pretended to be the teacher and made Shannon and I copy all of the shapes she drew on the chalkboard. The party was had a "Cowgirl" theme, and Chloe loved dressing up like a little cowgirl!
