Oldies but {Goodies}

This past weekend I was going through Liz's phone, and I found a few hilarious pictures!

This is from Christmastime.  We were doing a little cheerleading in our front room.  The brown dress that Chloe has on is a hand me down from her cousin, Mylee, but Chloe thinks it is absolutely beautiful!  For a while there, she wore it every.single.day!  Liz and I were reliving the glory days for sure!

Next picture:  This is from Chloe's first dance competition.  Liz was doing her makeup while Chloe was sitting in the sink watching her.  Liz looked down to see some stunning eye make up all over Chloe's face.  She has some pretty hot eyebrows going on!  Notice the bow in her bangs - she found it outside while mowing the lawn with Brandon and stuck it in her hair!  She is such a riot!

Now for your viewing pleasure:  During our first trip to City Creek, Chloe decked herself out in a very stylish hat and some sweet jelly shoes and busted some awesome moves to a little Madonna.  So funny!

St. George {Girls' Trip #1}

While Brandon played in a weekend golf tournament, Chloe and I snuck off to a weekend in sunny St. George!

We kicked things off with a shopping trip, of course!  Chloe and Maddie ran across a crowded resturaunt to wrap each other up in the biggest hug when Maddie arrived!  It was so cute.  They are such good little friends.  They did a little fashion show for us inside Children's Place.

Sometimes, the girls get a little crazy and let their hair down!

Grandpa took us to see the horses, sheep and pigs at the 4H Farm. The pigs were so stinky! The girls kept saying that the pigs were "disgusting!"

We visited the carousel in downtown St. George, and the girls jumped in the little splash pad/lazy river with their clothes on! They had a blast!

It was a fabulous weekend!!!

Something to {Dance} For

Chloe had another little dance competition, and it was an unforgettable experience, for sure!

Everything started out great!

Then, the music started, and Chloe got a little curious.

She started to get in the groove and was doing great.

Suddenly, Chloe took off running toward her teacher! I about died!

She ran to Teacher Kathy, gave her a huge hug and said to her, "Can you even believe that I am dancing?! I am going to go do the splits!" The next thing we know, Chloe is back on the dance floor busting out the splits six or seven or way too many times! The audience exploded with laughter. It was like an out of body experience - something that is hilarious when someone else's kids do it, but mortifying when your kid is the crazy one! Haha! She was adorable! As the dance was wrapping up, Chloe got back on track with her class and finished beautifully. (That was until she stayed on the dance floor even when the next team competing came on! Brandon had to jump over the rail at the event center to grab her before she interfered with the next teams' performance!)

Luckily, the judges thought Chloe was a "cute little soloist," and her group took first place! Chloe told us that she was a little bit naughty during her dance, but she did a good job with the end of the dance! We love our little dancing diva!

{Easter} Celebrations via Pictures

We enjoyed a very fun little Easter.  It was nice to enjoy this special Sunday at our house in some beautiful spring weather.

We started our Easter fun with an Easter egg hunt in Brandon parents' subdivision.  Chloe was so excited to find treat filled eggs with her daddy!

After the neighborhood egg hunt, we headed back to LeeBo and JoJo's for a family egg hunt

We lucky to be visited by a super nice Easter Bunny! That crazy bunny left a trail of jelly beans all over our house.

We dressed up in our Easter best for church. Liz and Grammer Kris stayed with us for Easter weekend and joined us at church.

Chloe wore a beautiful Easter dress that she picked out all by herself! She thought that she looked like Princess Belle - what a darling little girl!

We made a little Easter lunch, complete with our traditional bunny cake!

Chloe had to put candles in the bunny cake and sing "Happy Birthday" before we could have dessert!

We wrapped up our Easter celebrations with dinner at Grandma Verna's, complete with a confetti egg fight! So fun to be with family!

Easter {Eggs}

Photobucket

During the week  before Easter, we had a little family night to dye Easter Eggs.  Chloe was super excited, and she loved that there was special glitter paint for the eggs.  I thought that she would only love the pink color, but she was happy about all of the colors.  We made eggs for each member of our little family, including Chopper and the chickens!
