We are so SURPRISED!!! I don't know why, but we have been planning on a boy throughout the pregnancy. So much for my "Mother's Intuition!" When our midwife broke the news, I just started laughing. I think that Brandon just about passed out! Honestly, we haven't even considered that it would be a little girl; we only have a list of boy names that we like. Now, we are just so excited that a "little princess" will be joining our family. Brandon has officially imposed a strict budget so that I don't just go overboard on purchasing cute things for her to wear ;)!

I'm so excited you guys are having a little princess and yes shopping is super easy and fun for them. I can't wait for your baby shower - let me know if you need help planning it. I am always here to help. We need to get together soon cause we miss you guys. Love ya... and I have some cute names that I can think of: -Mercedes, Jade, Naomi, Unique (funky but cool, especially if you spelt it different)... anyway those were some I like for Mariah but obviously didn't pick. love ya!

YEAH!!! I am so excited for you! We too totally expected a boy...but I am so excited now. It is amazing how much more real and attached I feel now knowing the gender! The girls departments are pretty tough to stay away from :)

WOW! It seems like you just announced and you already know she is PINK! I am so happy for you two. I watch Brady with Paisley and have no doubt that Brandon will be as tender as Brady with his little princess. So happy for you....good luck with the name choosing...it is always important and can be hard. We came home from the hospital without naming two of our girls.....So happy for you!!!

Girls are so much fun! That is so exciting! The budget won't be a problem becuase the minute Brandon sees that adorable little girl, he'll buy anything. Ned said the same thing and now we don't leave the house without buying something for her. Congratulations!
