Busy Weekend
We have had a busy, fun weekend. On Friday, we went to dinner at Rainbow Gardens and bowling with some friends. All I have to say is that I am a terrible bowler! I need some serious practice. On Saturday, Brandon and I went to Logan to look at houses with my brother, Ethan, and his fiance, Brooke. It was an adventure, but we did see one house that may be a keeper. We went to lunch at the Firehouse in Logan. They have great pizza! It's worth a trip up the canyon to eat there. Saturday evening we watched the NCAA games with the Closes. It was nice to spend a casual evening with friends. Today, Brandon wasn't feeling too hot this morning. We went to his parents' for dinner. Joanne made a yummy new chicken recipe that I need to steal from her. We both have a pretty crazy week coming up...it's looking like it will be a continuation of our busy weekend!

HAPPY EASTER!
Our Easter Sunday started with church this morning. It was a great to open Easter Sunday with reflection on the real reason we celebrate this holiday. It was also a day rich in tradition and family. We spent the afternoon with my Aunt Kathy and her girls. Ethan drove down from Logan to have lunch with us. Every year I make a "Bunny Cake." It is a tradition that was started by my Grandma JoAnn when I was a little girl. I have tried to make a "Bunny Cake" every year to keep the tradition alive. We enjoyed this year's cake with Kathy's family. Then, we headed to Grandma Verna's to celebrate with Brandon's family. On Easter Brandon's family has a huge Confetti Egg fight. They fill hollow egg shells with confetti and throw the eggs at one another. Eventually, everyone ends up covered in confetti. It has been a great day!

Warrior Baseball!
Baseball season is in full swing at Snow Canyon High School. Eric is playing on the JV team. He is a very talented player. I love being at his games, but unfortunately, I live too stinking far away to watch too many games. He is a very dedicated pitcher, and his practice and hardwork are certainly paying off. We are so very proud of him. Good luck at your games this week, Eric!

Our New Blog!
Okay, here we go. I'm not sure that we will have much to write about, but at least Steph and Laurel can read my posts! Brandon thinks that this is crazy and stupid. We'll see how it goes...
