We are the proud owners of six (yes, a HALF DOZEN) chickens! Brandon has wanted to get chickens for a couple of years, and
this is our year. We brought home a few sweet little fluffy chicks a couple of weeks ago. Brandon built them a darling little coop (it even has a little window!), and Chloe and I painted it. Chloe loves the chicks, but she will only pet them with her pointer finger while Brandon holds them. They have grown into awkward "teenage" chickens. It is fun to watch them scamper around the yard. Brandon and Chloe check on them several times a day. Hopefully, they are all hens, and we will see them produce eggs in a few months.
